Star*Bucks: Referral Program

Here's how it works.

If a new customer mentions your name (and, most importantly, your referral code - see below), both this new customer and you will get a credit in Star*Bucks:

*1 for a new primary Standard license,
*2 for a new primary Power license,
*3 for a new primary Pro license.

That was easy, wasn't it?

Now, what can you do with this money?

If you have Standard or Power Star*Explorer license, you can use your Star*Bucks to pay for the upgrade, or as a gift for somebody to purchase a new or additional license.
Once you get Pro (which is the most powerful edition after all), you can actually start cashing out. I mean - any Pro license holder can request an exchange of his/her Star*Bucks for the actual U.S. currency at a fabulous 1:1 rate (i.e. *1=$1US, PayPal only please).

Referral Codes.

By default your referral code is your original PayPal transaction or receipt number. (you should have it both from PayPal and from my letter in which I sent you your license), which looks like this: 34U42341L5128472C.
If, for whatever reason, you feel that using this number publicly is compromising your financial arrangements (trust me, it's not, but hey, what do I know), just send me an email and I'll gladly issue you your personal, hand-crafted, totally unique and absolutely irrelevant-to-anything referral code.

Important!

While I would encourage you to proudly display your referral code on your personal, business and photo web pages, please do not use it in public forums (such as dgrin, fredmiranda, dpreview, etc.), since many (if not all) of such online  communities consider this type of information as a spam-like commercial advertising and would often ban it.
